Jeff Humphry – Director
Jeff founded the business in 1980 having previously spent some twelve years in a financial accountant and general management capacity for a division of a public company. His focus now is to support the team to ensure clients are given the best possible support and advice and to assist and advise new and existing businesses in their development.
Jeff is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the International Association of Bookkeepers.
Julie Cooper – Practice Manager
Julie joined the practice in 2004 and has a vast knowledge of accounts having worked for a number of small local businesses. She has also worked for the Department of Works and Pensions.
James Piper – Senior Accountant and Tax Manager
James joined JHA in 2020 after working for local practices in the area building up extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of business that affects sole traders, SMEs and personal tax.
James is a full member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and part qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.
Peter Walls – Accounts Senior
Peter has a combined honours degree in accounting and mathematics from London South Bank University. After university, he joined a firm of chartered accountants in London and then spent 10 years in an accounting capacity with a large London hospital NHS charitable fund. Peter joined JHA in 2008.
